Fantasy Movies

A fantasy movie favourite is mine is the wonderful Labyrinth starring none other than David Bowie (and Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly). It was a great movie for children and adults alike. The puppetry, the songs, on paper it sounds like a disaster in the making, but it worked perfectly and is a fond favourite of many a movie goer.

Another great example of the fantasy movies genre is the ever popular Harry Potter series of movies. The great special effects and escapism the Potter movies bring is appreciated worldwide and definitely does justice to the J K Rowling books. The Lord of the Rings movies are also great examples of this genre.
